Montana Ghost Towns

After spending 15 years driving "through" Montana, I decided to spend some time searching out Ghost Towns in the State. To my surprise, there is an abundance of them. In August, I spent a week travelling all over Montana taking in sights and towns I didn't even know existed. At the time Montana was experiencing a terrible wildfire season. The air was heavy with smoke making it hard to breathe. The sun was an eerie orange dot in the sky. The overall sepia tone, rather than ruining the pictures, just seemed to add to the ghostly theme of the trip.
